The food and the service were great! We had paella, enchiladas, and fajitas. The spices and seasoning of all the food seems very authentic and the habanero hot sauce is a must try for anyone that loves spicy food! The mixed drinks and beers are also super flavorful and refreshing! We will definitely plan to come back for more delicious meals!
This is my first time in Cacique and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I got the chicken fajitas and they were so good, i enjoyed the chicken’s seasoning . For dessert, the tres leches was amazing, so close to the Mexican one. I absolutely recommend!!

I have been to this restaurant over 100 times. I grew up in Frederick and came here weekly after piano lessons down the street. It became the go to spot for every birthday in the family and among friends. I brought dates here and celebrated here after good grades, sports achievements and everything in between. I would always order an extra container of the best salsa in town. Now I live far away and it’s the first place I go every time I return. The service is always amazing. This time I was serviced by Brian, who i hadn’t met before but was super friendly and helped plan my dad’s birthday sombrero and desert (a casique classic). Brian was very attentive and a great waiter overall. Thanks Brian.
Really enjoyed the visit. Our party enjoyed one chicken fajita and one shrimp fajita remarking they were the best they had ever had. The combination Saltado was very tasty spiced well, personally I would have loved some hot jalapenos added. The only downside was we were seated near the kitchen entrance on an evening when there were plenty of other tables in quiet areas. Too noisy with the doors open to the kitchen. We will return but be certain to ask for a better table.
My wife and I went here for dinner tonight. If you're thinking about eating here just step inside and sniff. You'll be immediately greeted with the smell of steak, shrimp, and lime..... it's divine. My only complaint is that or steak and ground beef entries were slightly overcooked, but the flavors were amazing. The sides were fresh, and the chips and house made salsa were tasty. The staff, though busy, were friendly and helpful. The drinks were well made and my double came with the extra shot on the side (a nice touch). If you're in Frederick and craving Mexican or Spanish food give thus place a shot!
Once again, this place hit it out of the park for the margarita. The special was blackberry. So good. Give it an extra star if you like yours on the sweet side! We enjoyed the vegetable fajitas and the guac appetizer. Large portions, doggy bags!
